About Our Consultants Deborah Potash Brodie, M.A. has spent the last 20 years In the D.C. metro area as a Judaic special educator for adults and children. As an Itinerant specialist, she teaches self-contained classes for children with special needs, develops and teaches in numerous resource centers throughout the area's supplementary schools, and consults In the arena of special needs. Ms. Brodie writes innovative curriculum and methodologies to help her students become successful. In addition, she tutors children with special needs for their Bar/ Bat Mitzvah, As a tutor, her philosophy stresses that the student rather than the bracha is the client. Her students come from every stream of Judaism. Ms. Brodie is CEO and content developer for Dor L'Dor J W Brill, M.Ed. assisted people with disabilities to gain access to education for over 20 years. He developed Disabled Student Service programs on college campuses, initiatives on assistive technology In higher education, and became the first Executive Director of MD-TAP (Maryland Technology Assistance Program), Mr, Brill was a founding member and later president of the National Network of LD Adults. He has served his community in rural first response EMT programs, taught in local college and high school summer programs, and helped communities recycle medical equipment for the uninsured. Mr. Brill was a catalyst in the founding of the Torah Organization for Disability Access and advocates for special needs in the Jewish community. He teaches primary and secondary students in an area religious school and creates Judaic software for Dor L'Dor |
